'LILY' a poem by buddyblack
I know this
May sound silly,
But I just
Saw a Lily
Come floating by
In my cup
Of red tea.
I know this
May sound silly,
But I just
Saw a Lily
Come floating by
In my cup
Of red tea.
Out of the
Corner of my
Eye, it came
Floating on by,
So graceful and
Happy in this
Red Zinger Tea.
I stared deep
In my cup
And saw the
Rare Poet-Tree,
From whence this
Lily did fall.
So, I know
What I saw,
And I know
I did see,
A lily, sailing
By, in my
Red Zinger Tea.
Corner of my
Eye, it came
Floating on by,
So graceful and
Happy in this
Red Zinger Tea.
I stared deep
In my cup
And saw the
Rare Poet-Tree,
From whence this
Lily did fall.
So, I know
What I saw,
And I know
I did see,
A lily, sailing
By, in my
Red Zinger Tea.
