'America!!? Hello? Are You There!?
!!!!!!!!! And the madness continues to exude like puss from a festering brain wound from the new Trump 'Swamp' of Washington D.C. I'm at a loss for adjectives, and compound sentences that could properly describe how I really feel about what these newly installed swamp monsters, Trump included, are doing to our America.
Familiar, and overused 'Words' now seem so ordinary, impotent, and hollow. It seems that anything that can be said has already been there, and by now it's doubtful that if it's not in a short Tweet, it's unlikely to be read anyway, unless of course it's from our 'leader'.
But, although I am at a severe loss of words, I'll try anyway.
I have said this at least once, or maybe a dozen times or less; it appears that our President and his 'boss' King Bannon, are hell bent on dragging America down the potholed, and heavily mined road of neo-isolationism. Look it up. Trump wants to withdraw America from involvement in any of our obligations to countries that historically have been protected by or partnered with America. He wants to build a 'wall' around America, not just the physical one at the southern border, to keep out anyone that in his paranoid mind might harbor ill will towards America. Little does he realize or care that if America bails out on our friends, and obligations around the world, doing so will create voids where Russia and China will quickly fill, in one fashion or another to the exclusion of Americas interests, which, by he way, we should have plenty of. America will then have no say, nor a whine, about what happens to those former friends once taken over by these communist, or radically 'religious' factions, and regimes. And Yes, Russia is Still a 'Communist Regime' controlled by Dictator Putin. Trump, in his frenzied drive to build the Mexican 'wall' is willing to de-fund, and destroy, any and all agencies that America actually needs, in order to fund the 'wall' that Mexico is Not going to pay for, but Americans surely will, and No, Trump supporters, he will Not send the 'bill' to Mexico for future reimbursement. They are Not gonna pay. Believe it! But Americans, and the rest of the world Will. Believe it!
And so now, this instant case of 'scorched Earth' policy from Trump is to cut funding of the U.N. Recently he said that he supports the U.N. and that the U.S. would not bail out from our commitments there. He spoke with 'forked tongue'. But Now, he proposes to cut funding which some sources predict could be up to 36% funding of humanitarian aid programs. I don't need to read the attached report to you, if you can read my comment you can surely read the report as well. Exercise your eyes and read. As I have said before, if the U.S. bails out on these obligations, who will fill the void? Our enemies are not likely to replace the missed funding, but they Are smart enough to take advantage of the countries that would then be struggling, and move in with their Own promise of assistance, for a 'price' of course. When we bail out anywhere across the globe, there's a nefarious actor waiting in the wings to jump in and fill the void with their own 'alternative' to the assistance the U.S. previously provided. And if it's Russia or China, the U.S. will have no room to whine, and to probably never regain that position.
Contrary to 'King' Trump, America was great prior to his accidental ascension to the throne. We were a World leader that our friends looked to with respect and assurance that when needed we would be there for them. That's what friends do. To our enemies, and the worlds enemies, we were a feared, and deadly force to be reckoned with. When we bail out, and cut and run from our friends and obligations we simply show our 'friends' that we cannot be counted on, and if they are still strong enough they will have to find a 'friend' that can be. If they are too weak to defend themselves then a stronger force will simply take them over and absorb them. To our enemies we simply show that we are no longer a world class leader, that we are weak, and will not dare intervene when they start with their 'nation building' as Russia calls it when they move in on a weaker country. The weaker we present ourselves, the stronger they become, it's not 'rocket science'.
The bottom line here is that the United States can be a World Leader that the world can count on, and actually Be that leader, or we can withdraw, build that 'wall' around our country, de-fund the very agencies here in America, and worldwide that provide for our, and their security, health, and well being, and stick our heads up our butts, and be Lead by the fools that do likewise.
If Americans allow the Trump regime, and his puppets to degrade America with his Scorched Earth policy of 'leading' by destruction by de-funding, division, and constant lies, and paranoia, then we deserve what we get in the end.
