'Duterte's Law'
'Does this ICC not fully realize that I am the official 'dictator' of my very own enlightened country? Mr. Trump, watch me closely, and learn. As such I have given myself permission to do as I please in my own country. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' in the Philippines, there is only the 'law of Duterte'. How dare outsiders try to tell me how to run my very own country which I have hi-jacked long ago. My serfs love me. They love the way I sneak out in the middle of the darkness on my moped, and shoot down 'suspected' drug users. Do you hear them complain? No. A whiner does not live long in my country.
I am accused by outsiders of killing innocent people. How can they be 'innocent' when I have condeemed them in my own court of 'Duterte law'? Guilty is, as guilty is, and as such they must die. My 'law' is simple. Only the disgusting drug pushers, dealers, and 'suspected' users do not understand my 'law'. This happens when the mind is clouded by drug use. "The so-called war against drugs is lawfully directed against drug lords and pushers who have for many years destroyed the present generation, specially the youth," this is my truths.
"The deaths occurring in the process of legitimate police operation lacked the intent to kill, The self-defense employed by the police officers when their lives became endangered by the violent resistance of the suspects is a justifying circumstance under our criminal law, hence, they do not incur criminal liability."
Oh sure, sometimes a totally innocent person, even children may get killed in our quest to rid my country of all those connected to drugs and whores alike. Sometimes yes, it happens, but those unfortunate deaths are fully investigated by me personally, and so far all have been 'proven' to have been murdered during justified use of force by either myself, or my 'volunteer' vigilanties.
The useless UN has "pictured me as a ruthless violator of human rights". What!?? Is that crazy or what! Do they not realize that I have suspended all "human rights" in my country long ago? So no, I do not violate anyones "human rights". Do you hear any complaints from my serfs? No, they have become accustomed, somewhat like the 'Stockholme Syndrome', to the way I run my country. So, in light of the outsiders at the UN calling my bloody hand, I dictate that my country is pulling out of the International Criminal Court ratification. So there! Now you cannot touch me, and I can continue to rid my country of the scourge of drugs and whores. The only way to stop a drug epidemic is to kill everyone involved in it, even those who even 'think' of using drugs must die at my hand. As for our whores, as soon as the drug epidemic is over, they too shall disappear, well, except for my favorites. No drugs, no whores. This is the 'Duterte Law' in my country. I encourage that anyone who has a complaint to contact me and I personally will visit your home on my moped during the dark of night.'
