'We Have Met The 'Enemy'
'My fellow Americans, I come to you today sad of heart, beaten of brow, belittled by many, out-voted by Millions, loved by less, and not a little Paranoid as usual, to share another ad nausum Tweet from my nocturnal 'Twitter' machine here in the comfy of my 'man closet'. Later I'll tell you all about how I won the 'popular' vote bigly. Incredible numbers!
As you all 'know' and 'appreciate', my every thought, my energy all, is to make sure that "America is great again", you 'know', after eight years of total destruction by you know who. I won't mention his 'name', but his initials are O-b-a-m-a. Lovely family. Great kids. I 'hear' that he moved back to Nigeria where he was 'born'. I don't know. Somebody 'told' me that. But worse than That, I must inform you that as Bad as That surely is, and as bad as the terrorist hordes of ISIS that want to destroy what's left of America, there's one thing that is even Worse than all That combined. And that one thing is; The purveyors of "Fake News", the "Opposition Party", Your worst "enemy", the 'Media', “the enemy of the American People.” "The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!" “Much of the media in Washington, D.C. — along with New York, Los Angeles, in particular — speaks not for the people but for the special interests and for those profiting off a very, very obviously broken system,” “The press has become so dishonest that if we don't talk about, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people. Tremendous disservice. We have to talk to find out what's going on, because the press honestly is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control.” I only 'wish' that they could be even Half as honest and transparant as I am every breathing moment of my American loving self. I wish there were 'some' way that Americans could 'control' these "Fake News" organizations. 'Think' about what You as my faithful followers, my minions, my mindless lemmings, can do to "wall" off these dishonest liars who are out to make your Commander-In-Chief look bad. Can't trust'em! Liars! Evil! They hate you. They obviously want to destroy me, and to take me away from you. Should you 'let' that happen? I don't know. Just sayin'. It's up to all of you who love me, who have faith that God almighty has sent Me, and Me alone to 'save' America from the rest of the world, and to make a job for every man, woman, and child even if I have to wipe out the EPA and destroy our environment, and shove us back to the smog filled skies of the 40's, bring back polluted streams and rivers, denuded mountain tops, and give our 'protected lands' to big business for their own profit, and ultimate destruction. Remember, These are your 'friends'.
Of course there will be detractors, the "fake news" media of Course, who will say that I am railing against the very people who I could not do without during my campaign to spread my words of love and tolerance, not to count, my handsome face, so that all Americans could stand in awe of my wonderful, business-like stature. Liars! Disgusting people! Remember, I am the Only person in America that you can 'absolutly trust' and 'count on' to save America from itself. With your help, obedience, and complacency, my billionaire staff and I will become even more wealthy than we ever dreamed of so that we can spend that money on "Making America great Again". Really. As you can 'see' I have "drained the swamp' in DC, and All those evil swamp critters are gone. DC is now the most 'honest' place in America, especially with Me as the new 'owner'. And remember also, that contrary to popular 'belief' I do 'not' suffer from Any sort of mental issues big or small, that could probably affect my superior thought processes or decision making abilities, my persecution complex 'hardly' bothers me at all, and my ability to 'always' be 'truthful' is seldom hendered by my extreme bias, and I have strict 'control' of my deep belief in conspiracy theories that have long ago been debunked, and most of all, there's not a 'bully' bone in my whole body, and I 'never' tell lies. Did I mention that Five Million illegal people voted for Hillary? "Disgusting person!" "Liar!" Remember 'who' your Real enemy is Americans! You must 'resist', and 'protest' the lies you hear, if you 'know what I mean'.'

Although Trump has long colorfully criticized news coverage and sparred with reporters who question him, he had not yet labeled the fourth estate as being an enemy of the country. On the campaign trail, some of Trump's supporters would heckle and threaten reporters who covered his rallies, and his tweet Friday came 24 hours before his first political rally as president.
It took the president two tries to properly post his message, which came soon after he arrived at his luxury oceanfront estate for the weekend. The first tweet, which was quickly deleted, contained a number of extra spaces and listed the Times, CNN and NBC, ending with this conclusion: “SICK!” The second tweet added ABC and CBS to the list, while removing “SICK!” Both tweets labeled those organizations as being “the FAKE NEWS media.”

Thursday night, the Republican Party and Trump's campaign websites posted a 25-question “Mainstream Media Accountability Survey.” The survey formalized Trump's attacks and his insinuation that media outlets are working against the American people. It's unclear what, if anything, the data will be used for, and participants are required to give their name, email address and Zip code.

Other questions ask whether the survey-takers think the media does “due diligence fact-checking before publishing stories on the Trump administration,” whether it fairly reported on the rollout of Trump's travel ban, whether “political correctness has created biased news coverage on both illegal immigration and radical Islamic terrorism” and whether the media has been “far too quick to spread false stories about our movement.” Participants can also indicate which issues the media does “the worst job of representing Republicans” on, with the option to pick as many topics as they like.
The final question: “Do you believe that our Party should spend more time and resources holding the mainstream media accountable?”
Digital fundraising experts said the media accountability survey appeared designed to keep Trump’s most loyal supporters engaged. People who fill out the questionnaire are taken to a donation page where they are asked to give between $35 and $2,500 — with the option of making a monthly recurring donation.
“President Trump is asking you to go the extra mile and make a contribution to help defend our movement from the outrageous attacks from the media coming our way,” it states. “Contribute now to help us fight back against the media’s attacks and deceptions.”
