How dare You Harry Potter

'Oh Hello..Bobs 'Millstones? Right..look, this is Pastor Kev, ah, I'd like to order a dozen or so of your best and Heaviest MillStones, just like that last load, and please deliver them to our Youth Paster at our church by this Sunday. Thank you, byebye. Whew, glad to get That out of the way, been meaning to stock up on those handy little things for a while now. You never outgrow your need for a snappy Millstone, they certainly serve a lot of useful purposes. Why, just the other day, we discovered that one of our Youths had been watching that horribly sinful Harry Potter movie. We just happened to have one nice Millstone left over from our last big tent revival and we put it to good use, we did. Praise the Lord and pass the bisquits, that boy sank quicker than I can say 'Wow! But don't worry, he was ready to meet his maker. He confessed his sins and even gave up a few more Potter fans that we'll deal with soon as that order arrives. You see, here in our wonderful Christian 'church', you are 'saved' as long as you don't 'sin', but Then when you Do, it's time for us to 'Reform' you, especially if you are dumb enough to watch that homosexual Dumbledore. Nothing but sicko homo's watch That stuff, and even if you ain't homo Before you watch it, you Will be after you Do. It's a scientific fact! Studies have been done where plain, normal people who had never even Thought about being homo, was turned into one right after watching one of them homo movies like that Potter film. Everyone of them! Now do you want Your children, your Son, hugging another Man, or your daughter hugging another Woman!? Sinners! Just as the good, kind, benevolent Lord Jesus Christ is my personal savior, we are gonna Millstone the sin right out of these little sinners! Hallelujah! The lord has spoken and we will smite the devil amongst us! Dumbledore, you homo you, you will never win, as long we have even one child left and a good Millstone, We, the righteous will always Win! Amen!' :/ :/

Pastor Thinks Parents Should Drown Themselves Instead Of Letting Kids Read 'Harry Potter'

This is really excellent parenting advice...?

Let it be known: Pastor Kevin Swanson is no Harry Potter fan. In fact, Swanson is so opposed to J.K. Rowling's iconic series, he'd prefer that parents would drown themselves than let their children read it.
Swanson, who is a pastor at the Reformation Church of Elizabeth, Colorado and also hosts a weekly radio show, blasted Harry Potter and "How to Train Your Dragon" in a convoluted speech at the National Religious Liberties Conference on Nov. 7, Right Wing Watch reported. His issue with Potter, it seems, stemmed from Rowling's 2007 revelation that she always thought of Dumbledore the wizard as a gay man.
"America, repent that Dumbledore emerged as a homosexual mentor for Harry Potter, that Hiccup’s mentor in ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ emerged as a homosexual himself in order that history might repeat itself one more time," Swanson said.
The pastor went on to suggest that it would be better "that a millstone be hanged around [the parents'] neck[s] and they be drowned at the bottom of the sea" than allowing their children to be "raised to be stumbled by the Dumbledores and by the mentors of Hiccup."
He said, "My friends, America needs to repent...of our culture!"
The comments aren't particularly surprising given Swanson's history of homophobic remarks. In 2014, he slammed the producers of the Disney mega-hit "Frozen" for trying to "indoctrinate" children into being gay, and treating "homosexuality [and] bestiality in a light sort of way."
"I wonder if people are thinking, 'You know, I think this cute little movie is going to indoctrinate my 5-year-old to be a lesbian or treat homosexuality or bestiality in a light sort of way,'" he said in a radio broadcast. "I wonder if the average parent going to see 'Frozen' is thinking that way."
Swanson, seriously -- let it go.
Correction: An earlier version of this article misidentified the group that Swanson stated should drown themselves. This has been modified.
