Granted, that these two idiots broke into this now defendants home. And granted, that he had every right at that moment being a 'victim', to defend his life, his family's life, and his property. However, once the bad guys Retreated, and Fled from his property and into the neighborhood, the home owners right to self defense Ceased, because the threat to his life Ended at that moment..and by chasing the bad guys He now switched roles from 'Defender' to 'Attacker', and It may not make a lot of sense to the uninitiated but the 'bad guys' then turned into being 'victims' in this case. Unfortunatly, the homeowner will now be toast. BuddyBlack.
