Contrary to misguided belief, this has Not been a 'trial' in any sense or form of the word. Sadly, This has simply been the hi-jacking, and hostage taking of America's, up until now the very document that has held our nation together as the now struggling democracy it has tried to be, Constitution.
I challenge anyone to find an actual criminal or civil 'trial' held in America where the 'defendant', the 'accused' and his legal team were allowed to set the 'rules' of the proceedings, block, and withhold from the prosecutions attorneys actual evidence and witnesses that they knew would show the guilt, or unlikely innocence, of their client, and to have a judge preside over the 'trial', a person that was appointed to serve as a Supreme Court Judge by the very defendant in the 'trial', and worst of all, if he should rule in favor of guilt, the defendants team will be able to override his decision! These are things that we would expect to occur in some 3rd world country, certainly not here in our America. But now, Trump has insured that America is indeed counted among those countries.
Trump, through his continuing illegal, and morally reprehensible acts against our nation, all in order to further his own profits and to insure that his dynasty survives, has managed, along with his cult following of simple minded minions, to destroy all that our great nation stands for. With total disrespect for our Constitution and the Rule of Law he has self anointed himself as the 'King' of America making himself an 'un-touchable' no matter what law he choses to break. The phrase, 'Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of man' was no doubt penned just for this unsupervised, egotistical, loose human cannon who has now been given license and loose rein to commit even more crimes against America in his quest to destroy our nation and remake it in his stone cold image. We ain't seen nothing yet! We've only seen the tip of the 'Trump Iceberg', and he is busy steaming our nation headlong into it.
Our Founding Fathers, even as foreword thinking as they were, could never have imagined that the nation they fought and died for would suffer such travesty at the hands of one singular individual. Until Trump, 'The Incompetent', they managed to fend off all who would be 'King', those who would be 'dictators', all who would have designs to usurp our Constitution and dismantle the laws and rules that bind us together.
Trump did not do this all by himself. He had the blind backing, and blessings of the republican party who cast aside their loyalty to America and its constitution in order to follow their cult leader no matter the dire consequences of their and his actions.
And yet, here we are with such travesty heaped upon our heads by this incompetent Buffon who's only loyalty is to himself and his 'royal' family. Even if Trump were evicted at this very moment it would take many generations, if ever, for America, and the world to heal and recover from the damage he has done to our country. However, 'conviction', and 'eviction' will never happen as long as our 'King' rules the crown and makes his own laws for his own benefit.
