"Rival gangs are coming together to stop rising gun violence in Denver". Oh please! Really? Reality check! "Gang members" Are the problem folks! If anyone actually beleives that these hoodlums are "coming together" to stop Anything, then I can sell you a really good bridge in the middle of the Mojave.
So, lets see how this is gonna work out. Now, they want to "stop gun violence". At long last. Wow! That would be great if it were actually true. But first, did all these gangsters trot down to the local Police department and turn over ALL of their FIREARMS, and ammunition? Did they agree, and actually follow through with disbanding each of their criminal gang networks? Did any of the gangsters who had just recently shot and killed someone, robbed a store with a firearm, did a little 'driveby', turn themselves in? Of course the answer is a solid NO to all the above. This insignificant little "coming together" means nothing in the short or long haul when it comes to "stop gun violence". This was simply a photo/press op and a show of force to the other "gangs' in attendance. This was a 'fly your flag day'. The gangsters who are 'wanted, by the police stayed in their little rat holes hiding in the safety of darkness.
They will 'hug' today, and 'thug' tomorrow. Nothing has changed, thuggery, business as usual.
The criminal gangs will continue to be just that, and they will continue with their illegal narcotic trafficking, their robberies, their prostitution slave trade, their shootings, and everything else illegal that they were doing the day before, the day of, and will continue to do the day and years afterwards.
Pay attention to 'later on', there is method to their madness, nothing will have changed, the shootings, and killings will not have ceased nor subsided, the criminal actions that these gangsters thrive on will not have lessoned, it will be business as usual. :/

This is simply Trumps ploy to drain attendees away from the White House Correspondents dinner, because he knows that 'reporters' will now have to chose between 'reporting' on Trumps 'rally', or missing it by being at the dinner, which Trump, 'The Vindictive', hates with all his might. 'Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Trump', and what better way to exact vengeance than to strike a 'coup' while the striking is hot.

Ok, for all you gullibles who still actually 'believe' that the wearing of the head scarf AKA 'hijab' is really a 'religious' symbol, and that woman wear it because they really 'want' to because their Allah prescribes it, not. The men in their lives make the 'religious' 'rules' that the women must adhere to or face the wrath of 'god' when they don't. The Men don't have to follow the same rules that they force their women property to. If they did, those asinine 'rules' would disappear so fast, the speed of light would seem slow! Religious radicalism, no matter what superstitious religion it might be, poses a direct danger, and subjugation, to anyone subjected to it's dangerous ideologies. Even right here in America we are seeing a scary re-birth of religious fundamentalism, fanatical Christian fervor, and Supernaturalism rearing it's ugly head in our federal, and local governments where it is attempting to cast its Taliban-like control over our nation. It's not a stretch of the imagination that if left unbridled, that these American 'religious' radicals would quickly institute their own 'religious' laws, and rules, to control, and rule over those of us who reject their warped form of reality, and would make the headscarf seem tame. :/

'I'm glad you asked that question. Let me be perfectly 'clear', and not the least 'ambiguous' with my 'honest government' answer, and you can be 'assured' that you can believe everything I say, which even I, myself, believe is mostly true.
You see, when my boss 'said' those words about Wikileaks, he did not bring those words from his heart of hearts. In fact, it did not even come from his brain! Those meaningless words actually, and simply, came from his 'lips'. Even I, have no clue as to what Wikileaks, or whatever it's called, is. No clue. Really. But then, I have no clue about most things anyway. I just sit around waiting for jesus to tell me stuff to say. Anyway, you may have noticed that a lot of meaningless words come from my bosses meaningless 'lips'. Please do not put a lot of stock in what he says. I sure don't, and you shouldn't either. If you hum real loud to yourself it's easy to block out most of what spills out of his lips. That's what I do, and let me tell you, it works wonders! I just clasp my hands under my little Vice Presidential chinny-chin-chin, click my heels, spin around in my closet, and praise my invisible lord that someday soon, I'll be Evangelical President Extraordinaire! Praise the lord, and pass the offering plate! I'm sure I've cleared this question up to everyone's 'satisfaction', but then, that's my job around here as the White House Chaplin, or whatever my job is. Whatever. Really.' ;)

What have we learned

   From living

The few years that

   We’ve had.

If  McAleenan does Trumps biddings then he, along with his incompetent 'boss' should both be held legally accountable. "I was just following orders", will NOT generate a 'hall pass' for knowingly committing an illegal act, no matter that it was at the illogical directions of an incompetent 'Commander-In-Chief', ever! The best thing this acting DHS secretary can do is bail out of Trumps sinking ship before he becomes part of the flotsam in it's aftermath. If he actually believes that Trump, 'The Constitutional Shredder', will pardon him for a crime, then he will deserve every criminal conviction he must eat afterwards, because Trump will simply deny, lie, and weasel his way out of even 'knowing' who McAleenan is.
This is America's President, the 'Commander-In-Chief', the one person who should be setting the correct example of 'leadership', and yet, we will never see such a thing from this 'presidential' pretender. :/ :/

The 'One Man Band'

'Wow! Look at that, will you! What a 'surprise'! Looks like I'm it! "I'm the only person running homeland security" now. I'm whatcha might call, a 'One Man Band'. Everyone that I formerly 'trusted' to do my illegal biddings, has proven that they are traitors to my cause, and all have bailed out of my sinking 'ship of fools', the rest I simply fired. So now, I must, mostly because I know more about this than anyone alive, ruin, err, run, that is, "homeland security" all by my very little self. And what a pleasure it w...ill be! I'm whatcha might call, 'a professional security-in-chief'. See, that's why I'm President, and you're not. I've actually forgotten more about "security" than most people even 'know' about such a thing.
Up til now, things were not 'secure' in my "homeland" of America. Especially at the disgusting Borders. But now, with me solely 'in charge' things will be a whole lot different. A whole lot! You can count on it! You'll see. Soon. Maybe later on. Maybe next week. We'll see.
My 'Little White House' in Palm Beach is more 'secure' than our Borders are. Really. I'm not kidding. It's practically 'true', or I wouldn't be saying it.
