City In The Sky

'Apparition' my Foot!   People, This is the Real deal here, and it's got Nothing to do with NASA's Blue Ray thingie, what Ever the heck That is!   If you Really 'think' there's no such thing as 'floating cities', then you've never had a good 'brownie', Yum, If, you know what I Mean ;) ;)  We should Not so quickly discount tales from our far east 'friends' as something they simply dreamed up.   Why in the world would they even Dream of tricking us in the first place?   Let he who has never seen a 'floating city' cast the first rice ball!   Mystical things happen 'over there', some things that just defy explanation, and Some things that at first reading may seem a 'little' fabricated, and 'made up'.   But let me assure you Doubting Thomases that just as sure as my keyboard is stamped 'Made in China', so too are 'floating cities'.   And you just wait, you non-believers you, pretty sOOn they'll be exporting those palaces in the sky right to our very doorsteps, and Then we'll have our very own skytowns just like They do.   By the way doubters, if you Still have any 'doubts', just re-read the story, take in every word and syllable, check closely those incredible un-doctored photographic images, soak in every nuance of this unbelieveable eye wittness account, and think to yourself, did This Really happen, Orrrr....Probably Not.   Oh Darn it!   I just talked myself into the outter 'doubterssphere'. Shoot! Dadgumit! Rats! Got snake oiled again! :/ ;)

Thousands Of People Report Seeing 'Floating City' Above China (Video)

Floating city above China
A possible optical phenomenon in China has been sparking the interest of both conspiracy theorists and the global scientific community.
In early October, thousands of people reported seeing the image of a ghostly city floating in the sky above two Chinese cities, according to the Tech Times (video below).
The first sighting of the mysterious image occurred on Oct. 7, when residents of Foshan in China's Guangdong province reportedly saw the city floating in the sky for a few minutes before it disappeared. Days later, the same image reportedly appeared again, this time in the sky over Jiangxi, China.
Video footage of the phenomenon taken by residents in Foshan depicts a floating image resembling a group of dark, towering skyscrapers emerging from the clouds over the city.
Many theories have emerged as to the cause of the "floating city" apparition.
Some conspiracy theorists have speculated that the images are part of NASA's supposed Blue Beam Project, in which the air and space organization allegedly projects images into the sky using holographic image projecting technology in order to test public reactions.
Others have suggested that the phenomenon was actually a "parallel universe materializing briefly into our own reality," according to Paranormal Crucible.
Most scientists, however, believe that the image was the result of an optical illusion called Fata Morgana, which is usually caused by rapidly cooling air temperatures.
“The illusion is due to a slightly unusual temperature structure in the lower part of the atmosphere,” Kenneth Bowman, an atmospheric scientist at Texas A&M University, told the Christian Science Monitor.
Bowman said that the air father away from the Earth's surface is normally cooler than the air closer to the surface. However, rapidly declining air temperatures can cause a temperature inversion, in which the air closer to the surface becomes cooler than the air above.
This natural phenomenon reportedly distorts light rays and causes strange shapes to appear in the sky.
Bowman added that optical illusions caused by these temperature inversions are often found near bodies of water.
"Exactly what’s happening in China, I really can’t tell without the weather maps, but [the Fata Morgana illusion] is more common near large bodies of water, or over water," he said.
This was not the first time the image of a floating city was spotted in China. In 2011, residents of Huangshan City reported seeing a similar apparition of a group of skyscrapers floating in the sky above their city.

Sacred Cow Pee

India's Hindus won't eat cows, but might drink their pee

HARIDWAR, Uttarakhand — In a concrete-block factory a few miles from one of the holiest spots on the Ganges, workers in hairnets and beanies slap caps on bottles zipping down an assembly line. A few feet further, another group sticks on no-nonsense, pharmaceutical-looking labels that read, "Divya Godhan Ark."
The room reverberates with a droning, mechanical whir, and it's redolent with a distinctive smell — like when you first open a jar of multivitamins, combined with a gas station men's room.
That's because the clear liquid in the bottles is purified cow's urine — quite possibly the fastest growing alternative medicine in India these days.
"Cow's urine is a diuretic. It helps in detoxification of the body, and many other beneficial effects are described in the Sanskrit scriptures, such as helping to expel excess bile," says Anil Kumar, a vaidya — practitioner of Ayurvedic medicine — employed by the company Divya Pharmacy.
Since successive Indian governments stepped up their promotion of alternative medicine a decade or so ago, unproven health products and nutritional supplements made from cow milk, cow urine and cow dung have become huge business.
Already, Patanjali Yogpeeth, which owns Divya Pharmacy, collects hundreds of thousands of gallons of cow's urine per day to be processed and packaged as facial cream, shampoo, soap, nasal drops, hair tonic and various medicines, press reports indicate.
Patanjali Ayurved, the brand's parent company that makes everything from herbal cosmetics to juices to cornflakes, has estimated annual revenue of around $380 million, according to investment firm Credit Lyonnais Securities Asia. Other producers such as Calves N Leaves and Vedic Cow Products report year-on-year sales growth of 10 and 30% respectively. And it's not just the masses buying it: Cow dung is giving tea tree oil a run for its money at posh stalls like The Thela ("the cart") in some of the country's biggest malls.
Bovine products are just the tip of a mammoth iceberg of soaps, lotions, ointments and medicines founded in ancient Indian texts.
But medical doctors warn they can be harmful, despite being "all natural," and critics argue that the government is promoting alternative medicines without seeking to test their efficacy and develop them into modern treatments.
Worse still, the focus on these unproven remedies may be detracting attention from the genuine crisis in the mainstream healthcare sector — where this year the government slashed federal funding in a bid to push responsibility onto the states.
Doctors complain that patients come to them when their cancer has progressed too far for surgery or when hepatitis has already resulted in liver failure, because they've spent weeks or months in the care of alternative practitioners. Meanwhile, as an ongoing outbreak of dengue fever in New Delhi has illustrated, the public health system is creaking its way toward abject failure, says Dr. Sumit Ray, vice chairman of critical care at the capital's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
People "are desperately looking for alternatives which are not expensive," he said in a telephone interview. "That is understandable. The failure is on the part of the government."
Few, if any, studies have been published in respectable, peer-reviewed journals, they say. But that hasn't stopped practitioners — and politicians — from making grandiose claims, in part because the rules governing such "supplements" are less stringent than those for allopathic medicines.
"If you want to save yourself from cancer, there is a need to protect cows on a priority because cow urine is effective in curing cancer completely. It can cure [100] percent. I can vouch for it. Nobody wants to hear this," Shankarbhai N. Vegad, a member of parliament for the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), announced to the upper house in March.
And in January, the governor of Karnataka state, Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala, proclaimed that while allopathic medicine might control disease, only Ayurvedic medicine has the ability to cure it — permanently and without side effects. Meanwhile, high-profile practitioners have claimed that Ayurveda can treat dengue, epilepsy, AIDS and other serious conditions.
Advocates of Ayurveda do more than just talk. Last year, for instance, a bill was introduced that would have allowed AYUSH practitioners to perform abortions, if it had passed. Tuberculosis experts bemoan a decision to allow AYUSH practitioners in certain states with a shortage of medical doctors to prescribe antibiotics — saying bad prescriptions have contributed to a spike in antibiotic resistance. And AYUSH Minister Shripad Yesso Naik recently announced that five new universities of alternative medicine will be set up in the name of the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), despite the lack of scientific evidence for the principles they'll be teaching.
"India cannot be completely different from the rest of the world," Ray said. "It's been established that healthcare improves with increased spending on public healthcare and improved nutrition and sanitation.
"You can invest in alternative medicine, too. But more stress has to be on allopathic medicine."

This summer, for example, Delhi's worst-ever outbreak of dengue — a vector-borne illness spread by mosquitoes that spikes during the monsoon season — has resulted in some 7,600 infections and at least 25 deaths.
In this case, cow's urine is not involved. But prices have spiked this monsoon season for products like goat's milk and papaya leaves that some Ayurvedic doctors say can alleviate symptoms associated with dengue — even though medical doctors caution that they're of little benefit.
Meanwhile facilities and personnel at government hospitals are dramatically overstretched. In some cases, hospitals have been compelled to put two or three children in one bed and set up cots on balconies to house the influx of dengue patients.
"It's probably gotten worse [under the current government], because public health spending has actually decreased," Ray said.
Though a program to standardize and promote traditional medicines has been in place since 1995, some see a direct connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Hindu nationalist support base.

After Modi took power in May last year, the department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, or AYUSH, was upgraded to ministry status in November. Despite spending just $105 million of the $195 million it was allotted as a department in 2014, this year the new ministry was awarded a budget of $185 million. Meanwhile federal funding for the National AIDS Control Organization, which also failed to spend all its 2014 funds, was cut to around $215 million from $275 million last year. (India has an estimated 2.1 million people living with HIV, representing the third-largest number of cases in the world.)
While investing in alternative medicines is not a bad idea in itself — in China, for example, research into traditional remedies resulted in the discovery of the anti-malarial drug artemisinin in the 1970s — critics point out that India's program seems more oriented toward marketing than scientific research.
At Haridwar's Divya Pharmacy, a unit of the Patanjali Ayurved group founded by a wildly popular television yoga guru known as Swami Ramdev, there's some evidence the company is attempting a marriage of the two systems.
In a hushed office that — apart from the portraits of the robed and bearded swami on the walls — looks as though it could belong to Merck or Pfizer, an employee fans out confidential studies on the chemical properties of cow's urine, some conducted in house and others independently. One compares its efficacy in treating cancer with the chemotherapy drug doxorubicin.
A quick scan of some of the publicly accessible research suggests that credible proof is a long way off.
But perhaps one day we'll discover that quaffing cow's urine is not as crazy as it sounds. The estrogen treatment Premarin, after all, was developed from pregnant mare's urine by the erstwhile Philadelphia-based pharmaceutical firm Wyeth in the 1940s.

The 'Presidency'?..Ohhhh Yeah, About That!

'Hi boys and girls, welcome to my neighborhood, won't you be my friends.  Have you been watching me 'run' for the Office of The President? Boy, it sure has been fun! I'm so excited I can barely digest my food, but I know a lot about brains, and so I just tell my brain to tell Me to just relax, and then my food turns into Energy. Then, I'm just like a little energizer bunny with a battery up my arse, and I just run, and run, and run.  Just look at how I'm doing in that State called Iowa.  Did you know that Iowa is known as the Corn State.  Wow, how 'corney' is That!  Really though, I'm doing real well out There, in fact I'm wayyyy ahead of that reality star guy, and I can tell you that He does not stand a snowballs chance in H E double L against Me there.  I got some bad news with that good news though.  I just found out that there's a whole bunch more States that I gotta win in!  GeezWhiz, I didn't know, even as smart as I Am what with this big brain of mine, that there's Soooo many 'States' out there.  At first, I was just happy being in My own 'state' of mind.  But Now, I gotta be in Everybody else's 'state' too!  What's with That, I said to myself, and no one in particular, in my very soft, and calm voice?  You see boys and girls you should always use your soft and calm voice even when you must 'yell' at someone.  Always 'yell' in your soft and calm voice.  If you talk softly people will have to come closer to you to hear you, and Then, they can't get mad at you for yelling softly and calmly.  See how that works?  Well anyhow, now that I've had such fun pretending that I want to be your President, Annnd discovering that Wow, there's a lot more 'states' out there than I ever first imagined, I must take a soft and calm vacation so that I can promote my great, and wonderful, worlds best selling book, a book that I, Myself, wrote with my own fingers, at the direction of my superior brain, by the way. In it, I'm telling Americans how to be Americans.  Yep, that's because Americans have clean forgot how to do it.  And, if everyone will buy a copy, which would do wonders for my personal bank account, it would save Me a lot of work when I'm your President because half the work will have been done already.  See how that works boys and girls.  It doesn't take a brain surgeon to be President, but it sure helps!  So anyway, while being President would be great for my ego and all that, promoting my book sales is pretty doggone important as well. No book sales equels No money. So now I'm off to see the wizard, so to speak, and follow the money trail. I'll only be gone for a few weeks, and the way I figure it with my superior intellectual brain, is, if you love me Now, you'll still love me Then.  No, don't cry boys and girls, I still, sorta, kinda, pretty much, want to be your esteemed President, but First things First, and don't you worry because I Will Be, or my middle name isn't 'common sense'.  And Remember, always use your soft, calm voice no matter how non-sensical people around you might act.  Well, that's all for today, won't you sing along with me..Welcome to my neighborhood, and won't you be my neighbor?'  :/ ;)

Ben Carson Temporarily Stops Campaign Events to Do Book Tour

245

ben carsonBen Carson will be putting a temporary hold on campaign events while he goes on his book tour.
If you’ve seen Carson on TV within the past week, you may have noticed at least one mention of his new book A More Perfect Union. Carson writes about the Constitution and how Americans can reclaim their Constitutional liberties.
But as spokesman Doug Watt told ABC News, Carson is taking the break from campaign events because of concerns over “co-mingling” campaign resources and Carson’s book tour.
He says “it’s just better to avoid any bad appearance” and so Carson’s campaign staff will not come with him on the two weeks he’s spending on his book tour.
That being said, Watt doesn’t think it’ll be a problem for the campaign that much, since he’ll still be out there talking about the issues.
This move didn’t go unnoticed today, and actually got criticism and snark from some corners.

A Sacred Cow

' Ahhhh, let there be no doubt, here in our glorious Country of India, our Cows are dear to our pure hearts. One Sacred Cow is more valuable to Hindus than one hundred meat eating Muslims. It does not matter that we kill one hundred Muslims, we know that at least one of them will have disrespected our Sacred Cow, and our Sacred Cows will be avenged. In fact, you will see right away that we love our cows more than we love Anything, which includes life itself, and even our Women, especially our daughters. What you do to our Cows, we will do to you! You see, you Westerners will Never understand our culture, and our 'ways' here in peaceful India. We are very religious, and we Hindus have practiced peaceful ways since time immortal. Here, we Live and 'let' live, but if you disrespect our Sacred Cows you will be disrespected in return, and you will quickly know what we mean by disrespect. Now in this instant incident it is tragic that this Muslim boy was not actually carrying beef in his truck, but he Could have been, and it is clear in our favored minds that he no doubt carried beef at some Other time! For sure he will never do so again. A lesson has been learned. It is better that we act first, and find out the truth of the matter later. It is said that now there will be great turmoil in our great Country, but no matter, because our Sacred Cows are more important to us than even our own Country. And beside, India has always been Hindu, there is only room for Hindus and Sacred Cows here. We are wise in our mysterious ways, and you will see that these Muslims who would slaughter and disrespect our Sacred Cows will quickly learn our ways, and then will be enlightened, just as we are ourselves.'  :/ :/Buddy Black

October 19, 2015, 12:52 p.m.
Some 2,000 people took to the streets Monday in an Indian-controlled area of Kashmir to protest the killing of a teenage Muslim truck driver who was burned to death in the cab of his truck, apparently because he was wrongly suspected of transporting beef.
It was the third instance in recent weeks in which a Muslim man has been killed over beef. Cows are considered sacred by Hindus.
Zahid Rasool Bhat, 18, the truck driver who died Sunday of burns, was buried Monday in his village, Botengo, in South Kashmir. Hindu militants are suspected of carrying out the attack, in which gasoline bombs were reportedly thrown into his vehicle on Oct. 9. The incident was caught on security cameras.
Bhat was reportedly carrying coal in his truck, not beef.
Protesters poured into the streets following his funeral, expressing grief and anger over his killing. “The protestors chanted anti-India and pro-freedom slogans,” said Shujaat Bukhari, editor of Rising Kashmir, an independent newspaper in the state.
The protests ultimately gave way to violent clashes between demonstrators and security forces. Police fired tear- and pepper-gas shells to subdue the stone-throwing protesters.
The chief minister of the state, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, condemned the killing and announced that the government would give Bhat’s family compensation of about $7,700, along with a government job.
Five people were arrested for murder, rioting, conspiracy and explosives charges, according to Waheed-ur-Rahman, spokesman of the state government. He said one had fled and was the target of a manhunt. He said the case would be held in a “fast-track” court designed to speed up India’s typically slow judicial process.
In response to concerns over religious tensions, the government of Jammu and Kashmir state declared a curfew in several parts of south Kashmir, and the Srinagar-Jammu national highway was being patrolled by a heavy police presence as well as paramilitary forces. The police have also stopped the entry of trucks into Kashmir as a precautionary measure.
“The situation is very intense at the moment,” said Bukhari. “Tempers are palpably running high. People have reacted strongly to the murder. We can only hope the situation does not lead to serious riots.”
Also Monday, Hindu militants threw ink on a Muslim lawmaker in New Delhi, where he was holding a news conference to protest Zahid's death. "India will not tolerate any disrespect to cows!" the assailants reportedly shouted.
The lawmaker, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, had drawn the ire of Hindu extremists earlier this month for hosting a party at which beef was served.
In previous recent cases, a mob of suspected members of the radical Hindu group Bajrang Dal killed a Muslim man for allegedly smuggling cattle from India's Himachal Pradesh last week. Three weeks earlier, a man in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh was lynched by a mob over apparently false rumors that he had been eating beef.

Presidential Wannabes Want Security

The American Public should Not have to Pay for the Secret Service Security of Any Candidate for Any Office, including that of Presidency of our Country. They 'Choose' to run for Office, they should pay for their Own Security out of either their Own personal funds, or their Campaign Funds. In this particular case Both of these wannabes can certainly afford to pay for their Own.

Two Republican presidential hopefuls — Ben Carson and Donald Trump — have asked for Secret Service protection, the Department of Homeland Security has confirmed to NPR.
DHS said it has received official requests from both campaigns. Those requests are now under review, but neither candidate has yet received a security detail. According to a DHS spokesman, the Carson and Trump requests will be determined "after consultation with a congressional advisory committee which includes the speaker of the House, House minority leader, Senate majority leader, Senate minority leader and one additional member selected by the aforementioned committee."
Although DHS has said the Carson campaign requested protection during a stop on his book tour in Austin, Texas, Carson suggested he did not think additional protection was necessary.
"I don't feel the need for it quite frankly, but the Secret Service thinks that I need it," Carson said. "I recognize that someone like me — who's very truthful, and who really doesn't subscribe to all the traditional power structures is probably gonna be a target. I also think that there's a God, but, you know, you have to be logical, so I will deal with it."
But Donald Trump has been taking a different tone. In an interview with The Hill last week, he said that the Secret Service ought to be protecting him.
"Personally, I think if Obama were doing as well as me, he would've had Secret Service [earlier]. I have by far the biggest crowds," Trump said.
President Obama was put under Secret Service protection earlier than any other candidate in presidential election history during the 2008 campaign. He received a security detail in on May 3, 2007, about eight months before any of the primary contests began.
His primary opponent at the time, Hillary Clinton, already had Secret Service protection as a former first lady, as she does this campaign. DHS would not say whether any other 2016 presidential candidates have made similar requests.
If Carson and Trump are approved for detail, the candidates may have made one thing easier for the Secret Service by picking out their code names. Responding to a question at the end of September's Republican debate, Carson chose "One Nation" and Trump picked "Humble."

Doggone That Supreme Court!

'Oh Hi there neighbors, it's Me again Mr. Carson, and welcome to my neighborhood, won't you be my neighbor? Not in My neighborhood they won't, and I bet not in Yours Either. We all know, because I have told you so many, many times, that Gods 'law' supercedes Constitutional law everyday of the week, especially on Sundays, and boy when I'm President that 'constitutional' crap will go out with the bathwater because I'm going to 'wash' this country Clean of Sin! So Now, homo's can get 'married'. Well, la-de-da! Here's what's going to happen because of that; the Next thing they will legalize is Polygamy! You know what That is? Just drive out to Utah and find out for yourself! A man needs only One wife! If you have more than That they will just be bumping into each other while cleaning the house and cooking for their husband! Too much drama there! Annnnnd, sooner or later, probably Sooner, they will legalize Beastiality! That's what I Said, Beastiality! You Know What That Is! Animal Lovers! OMG! Animal Lovers people! Now being a famous Neurosurgeon I can repair a lot of 'brain' problems, but I can't fix 'That' one! So there you See what's going to happen because of these geriatric fools who are going to destroy this country with their Liberal ideas and taking God out of our lives. Now if I had time I would tell you my views about about 'Evolution', what a Joke That is! Orrr, I could tell you how 'old' the Earth Really Is! Wow, I know a Lot because I'm so darn smart. Remember, and won't you sing along with me boys and girls, 'just because you're smarter than almost Everyone else on this Planet doesn't mean you have to have one lick of Common Sense'. Well, see you next week boys and girls and I'll tell you some of my beliefs about the 'Universe'.   See you next time, and won't you be my neighbor?' ;) ;)

Carson: Gay Marriage Will Lead to Polygamy

The Supreme Court, by approving gay marriage, has opened the door to the legalization of polygamy, according to Ben Carson.
The retired neurosurgeon, who is locked in a virtual tie with Donald Trump in the race for the Republican presidential nomination, made the controversial allegation last week. According to MSNBC, he declared that if the country refuses to follow the “word of God,” it might as well “toss the whole thing in the garbage.”
“If you change the definition of marriage for one group, what defense do you have for the next group that comes along and wants it changed?” Carson asked Eric Metaxas, the host of a conservative radio show. “Can you say, ‘oh no, we’re just changing it for one group and it’ll be this way forever?’ How is that fair? It just doesn’t make sense.”
The candidate suggested that polygamy is “the natural next question, and on it goes from there.” MSNBC reported that he previously linked homosexuality with pedophilia and bestiality. During a 2013 interview on Fox News, Carson said: “My thoughts are that marriage is between a man and a woman. It’s a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality. It doesn’t matter what they are. They don’t get to change the definition.”
