Carson Warns That Apocalypse Could Be Near

Ben Carson, responding to a question in an interview Sunday, conceded that the end of days may be coming soon.
When the Sinclair Broadcast Group’s Sharyl Attkisson asked the Republican presidential contender about the possible impending destruction of the world, he replied: “You could guess that we are getting closer to that. You do have people that have a belief system that sees this apocalyptic phenomenon occurring and that they’re a part of it. (They) would not hesitate to use nuclear weapons if they could gain possession of them.”
Carson offered hope that the end of days can be delayed. “I think we have a chance to certainly ameliorate the situation,” he said. “I would always be shooting for peace. I wouldn’t just take a fatalistic view of things.”
The candidate explained that his religious beliefs as a Seventh Day Adventist inspire his White House bid. “I am a Christian. I believe in godly principles; (in) loving your fellow man, caring about your neighbor ... developing your God-given talents to the utmost so that you become valuable to the people around you,” he said, adding: “I do believe there should be a line drawn” regarding the separation of church and state.
During the interview, Carson cautioned that some of the refugees fleeing Syria and entering the United States could be “jihadists.” He said President Obama’s policy of allowing them into the country does not “make a whole lot of sense,” The Hill reported.

What? I Can't 'Ear' You!

'What?? What did you say? I can't 'ear' you! Ma,.. it's Me, your Son the parrot Boy. See, I told you that one day I would 'look' just like a parrot, and Now , just look at me. Am I spot on or What?! Got rid of those pesky Ears, shoot, I never listened to Anything anyway. Besides, my cute little parrots don't have ears, so why should I. And look Ma, how about these snappy 'feather' tats all over my parrot face. Don't ask me about this ring in my snoozle, I have no clue Why I got that. Same goes for my 'horn' implants. I think I had all those Before I decided to be a parrot. I now live in a cage, and poop onto the daily news just like my BFF's. It's hard for me to eat out of my seed dish though, I wish I had a big pecker just like my BFF's. But I guess I'll have to learn to peck with what I have. Speaking of 'pecking', that's my sweetheart there with me. Ain't She a beut Ma?! Of course she Thinks she's a Snake what with that forked tongue and all, I just hope she doesn't wake up hungry one night and eat me. It would be hard for me to protect myself with my little pecker ya know. Well Ma, gotta go now, feeding time..peck, peck, peck..'. ;) ;)

  

'I Am So Happy': Man Undergoes Surgery To Look More Like A Parrot (Photos)

A U.K. man who tattooed his face and eyeballs to look like a parrot took his passion a step further by having his ears cut off.
Ted Richards, a 56-year-old from Hartcliffe in Bristol, England, originally covered his face and eyeballs with parrot tattoos to resemble his pet birds, Ellie, Teaka, Timneh, Jake and Bubi, Telegraph report.
Richards, who has 110 tattoos, 50 piercings and a split tongue, had his ears removed in a six-hour surgery — and even donated them to a friend. Now, he said he’s attempting to have his nose turned into a beak.
“I think it looks really great. I love it. It's the best thing that has happened to me,” he said, according to Telegraph.

“I am so happy it's unreal, I can't stop looking in the mirror," he added. "I've done it because I want to look like my parrots as much as possible. I've had my hair long for so many years my ears have been covered up. I have to admit I did used to get teased at school about my ears but that not the reason I've had it done.”

Richards said that the ears have been a point of fascination for local kids, who often ask him to “see gory photos.”
"I was really surprised - I thought they were more likely to run away,” he added.
While he wouldn’t mention the doctor who performed the surgery, Richards said he’s “happier than ever” and even entered into a relationship with a woman named Suzannah, 31.

The only issue he’s faced so far, he said, was difficulty with his glasses staying in place. To rectify this, he had two small metal pins inserted on the sides of his head.
Richards’ procedure was criticized heavily by medical professionals, including plastic surgeon Marc Pacifico.
“I am absolutely horrified to learn that someone has voluntarily put themselves forward for this to be done and possibly more so that he found somebody to actually carry it out,” he said.

“The sad truth of life though is that if you want something badly enough you will eventually find someone willing to do it," Pacifico added. "I would like to think whoever did this is not medically qualified because that would call into judgment their ethics and morals.
"As an accredited plastic surgeon you have to have a great sense of moral and ethical responsibility. I can only assume the ethical code and moral compass of whoever did this does not.”

Religion And Pandora's Box

Buddy Black And Here Now is the contents of 'Pandora's Box' that has stupidly been 'opened' by all of these radical, fanatic Christians demanding that Their 'religion' be practised in our Public Schools. Well, guess What, bible thumpers, What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If you allow One in, you cannot disallow Another, no matter What 'religion' (read Muslim) wants in. And you can cry, and whine all the way to the pulpit but once allowed, never retracted. The only way out of this idiotic situation, is to do what should have been done in the First place, and That is to BAN RELIGION of ALL forms, at ALL times, in our Public Schools starting with Kindergarten through the 12th grade, Period! No if's, ands, or buts about it. Keep Religion in 'religious' institutions and OUT of our Public Schools, and OUT of all Government Venues. I guarentee, and you can mark my very words on this, and I do not say it in a paronoid vain but in a realist sense, that it will not be too long in coming that these Muslim radicals will push to have Their 'Allah' inscribed on American Money, and Anything Else that Now has 'In God We Trust' scribbled across it. What's 'good' for One, is even 'better' for another, remember that! 'Seperation of State and Church' was instituted for a reason, to protect 'religion' from State, and to protect 'State' from 'religion'. There is no harmonius way to 'blend' the two, they Must be ALLways seperated in order to prevent either from destroying the other. Radical 'religions' that wish to 'destroy' the USA will quickly learn how to ply their trade within our democratic system, and even more quickly work our system against us to meet their nefarious goals. To be forewarned, is to be Well warned, take it as you will, but right Now we don't Need 'enemies', We Are our Own worst 'enemies' at this point. :/ :/

 

Parents Enraged By What Muslim Group Is Demanding

In Tennessee, there is a new bill that does not make members of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) too happy.
The bill would end the teaching of Islamic principles in public elementary and middle schools. The bill states that students would not be exposed to the ideology of other religions until the tenth grade.
According to Young Cons, they argue that children should be introduced to the teachings of Islam when “they’re impressionable young minds are much more fresh” — more specifically, middle-school age.
As a result, CAIR is asking the people of Tennessee to oppose House Bill 1418, introduced by Tennessee state legislator Sheila Butt. CAIR also accused the bill of being anti-Islam.

'Dear Dylan, This is God. You have probably never received a letter from me, but now that I have Discovered through your church that you are a sinful homo, I find the need to write. First let me remind you that you Live In Arkansa! That in itself should be enough for you, but I will go on with a few thoughts anyway. It's like This Dylan, no matter what you may 'read' in the 'Good Book' there's always something Else in there that can contradict the first thing that you 'read'. Sooo...don't 'read' too much into Anything you 'read' there. When I said 'Love Thy Neighbor', I meant 'Women' Dylan! Women! Geez! I know, I know, seems crazy and convoluted but if you're gonna be a good christian and fear my wrath, which you better Do, you Better get on the ball here and fly 'straight', and you Know what I mean There young man. Your's is not to ask the how or why..in Fact it's Best that you Not ask questions At All! I'll tell you how and what to think! Yes, I Know, I made all men in my image, that is except 'homos'. I don't know How in the world they slipped through the cracks but I'm pretty sure the devil had something to do with it. I try and keep an eye on him but I have a lot on my plate. Your Church needs a lot on it's 'Plate' too, 'offering plate' that is, but with You taking up pew space pretty soon the folks who are Not sinning will just stop coming, and then I'll loose some tithers and voters. I need good 'sheep' Dylan, and You are a Black sheep..Not good Dylan. Now I told your church that if you are willing to go the 'straight' and narrow path of righteousness you can stay. Arkansas Church Sends Letter To Gay Congregant Shaming Him For His Sexual Orientation (Photo)

A church in Arkansas reportedly asked an openly gay man to leave due to his sexual orientation.
Dylan Settles, 20, received a letter from officials at the Woods Chapel General Baptist Church in Brookland, Arkansas, in early October telling him he was no longer welcome in the congregation unless he abandoned the "sinful lifestyle" he had "chosen," and repented," LGBTQ Nation reports.
“It has come to the attention, of the Church body, that you have made it known publicly, of your choice, to embrace the homosexual lifestyle,” the letter began.
The notice went on to say that the church board had officially voted to remove Settles from church membership roles due to his "lifestyle."

The letter warned Settles that, although the church understood that everyone struggles with sin, he should "be aware of the consequences of [his] choices."

Settles said he was shocked and dismayed by the letter.
“I was in awe,” He originally told KARK 4-TV, according to LGBTQ Nation. “I was in so much shock, I couldn’t read the rest of it.”
Settles posted a picture of the letter on Facebook.
"I just got this letter in the mail from a place I called my home church...u will never see my face in that church again," he wrote in the post accompanying the photo.
The post has received more than 3,000 shares to date, and responses have been mostly supportive of Settles.
"I'm sorry this happened to you … I hope you find a real church that you can go to … with a real family/real Christians that truly actually know the love and what they are preaching," one Facebook commenter wrote to Settles.
"It made me feel a little sick inside to read that," another user wrote.
Since the post on Oct. 11, Settles has received over 300 new friend requests, and several other churches have reached out to offer him a place in their congregations.
Settles said he knows for sure that he is never going back to Woods Chapel.
“I don’t feel comfortable sitting at pew or sitting beside my parents when all I’m going to see is people pointing their fingers at me because of the lifestyle I chose,” he said.
Officials at Woods Chapel General Baptist Church could not be reached for comment by LGBTQ Nation.

Hillary Meltdown

'Wellll.....alright...I Have been a 'little' emotional and figgity here lately. Don't know whyyyy..just can't seem to put a finger on it. My life is pretty calm and peaceful, well at least compared to something like, ah..an Embassy take over, orrr..having a 'Trump'et up my arse. 'Some folks 'think' I'm gonna have a meltdown. Oh, I don't Think so, but I have been feeling a bit 'melty' lately when the going gets hot, if you know what I mean. Now, my staff who obviously I can no longer Trust, blabs that I've been having 'child like tantrums'. Well, if you want to call screaming, and stomping my feet, and gnashing my teeth, and giving people the evil eye 'child like tantrums' then well, alright call it what you like! Whew, is it hot in here..would someone please open a Window!! Air! I need some Air people! Darn it, I feel like Rubber Man in the middle of the Mojave! Am I melting?? Oh darn it! No,This is Not a 'melt down'..I'm just having a 'warm' moment..do I Really have to go to that debate with that Trump guy?? Please, someone fill the tub with ice cubes! Clinton’s camp says she ‘could have a serious meltdown’

Hillary is furious — and while Clinton advisers think that may save her, it’s making the lives of those who work for her hell.
“Hillary’s been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left staff members in tears and unable to work,” says a campaign aide. “She thought the nomination was hers for the asking, but her mounting problems have been getting to her and she’s become shrill and, at times, even violent.”
In one incident, Hillary berated a low-level campaign worker for making a scheduling mistake. When the girl had the nerve to turn her back on Hillary and walk away, Hillary grabbed her arm.
Hillary’s anger may be stoked by fear: Her poll numbers have slipped by 10 points in one week on the eve of the Democratic debate.
Bill Clinton and Hillary’s campaign team are concerned that her anger may surface at the wrong time. They are concerned that she could have a serious meltdown in front of TV cameras, which would make her look so out of control that voters would decide she doesn’t have the temperament to be commander in chief.
“We’re having some success in giving her some chill pills,” said a campaign adviser.
The goal is to channel her anger and make her focus on Republicans, not on her campaign aides and fellow Democrats.
“Hillary’s always at her most effective when her back is to the wall,” says one of her longtime political advisers. “After weeks of pounding and pummeling by the press, she’s mad as hell and isn’t going to take it anymore.”
The plan is already in play. Over the past two weeks, she has slammed the Benghazi hearings as nothing more than a Republican-instigated political witch hunt aimed at suppressing her poll numbers.
She’s bashed the Supreme Court and the National Rifle Association over the Second Amendment.
She’s thumbed her nose at President Obama by coming out against one of his major foreign-policy goals — the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
And with her approval, her opposition research team has been collecting dirt on Vice President Joe Biden, which Hillary’s camp is prepared to release to the media if Biden enters the nominating race following his family summit this weekend.
“She’s beginning to understand that she can use her righteous anger and indignation to good effect,” said the adviser. “After all, her anger is in keeping with the mood of the American electorate.”

PM Modi calls beef killing "unwelcome" as intolerance concerns grow

NEW DELHI Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned the murder of a Muslim man over rumours he ate beef, in his first response to an incident that has sparked concern about growing religious intolerance.Many among India's majority Hindu community regard cows as holy, but beef is widely eaten by Hindus in parts of the south, as well as those of lower castes and minority Muslims and Christians.
Modi's government wants a nationwide ban on cow slaughter and the beef trade, which is run mostly by Muslims.
Since the villager in Uttar Pradesh was beaten to death two weeks ago over claims he butchered a cow, politicians of Modi's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including some ministers, have made statements seemingly in defence of the Hindu mob that killed him.
In comments published on Wednesday, Modi, a self-proclaimed Hindu nationalist who has faced criticism for remaining silent about several incidents deemed anti-Muslim, said the incident was "sad" and "unwelcome".
"The BJP has never supported such incidents," Modi told the Bengali-language newspaper Anandabazar Patrika. "The opposition accuses the BJP of communal politics every time, but actually they are the ones indulging in it."
Modi's comments come amid concerns that he is failing to rein in hardline Hindu nationalist supporters. More than 20 writers have returned awards in the last week in protest against his silence over the killing of the Muslim man and the murder of a secular scholar.
British-Indian novelist Salman Rushdie said on Tuesday he supported the writers during "alarming times for free expression" in India, in a Twitter message on social media.
Mumbai-born Rushdie, whose 1988 novel "The Satanic Verses" is banned in India, in a later television interview accused Modi of allowing "thuggish violence", by failing to denounce the killing of the Muslim man.
Political opponents have accused Modi's party of looking to create religious tension ahead of a key electoral test this month in Bihar.
On Monday, activists of Shiv Sena, a junior party in Modi's coalition, doused the head of a think-tank in black ink to protest against the launch of a book by a former Pakistani foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri.
Protests by the same pro-Hindu political party blocked a performance this month by Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali in Mumbai, the country's commercial capital.
Modi told the newspaper his party supported the values of secularism that run through multi-faith modern India and questioned how the central government could be held responsible for the Muslim man's killing.
The main opposition Congress party accused Modi of trying to shirk his responsibilities.
"You can't have divisive forces become so strong that they overcome the ethos of our cultural heritage," said former Congress minister Sachin Pilot.

' Yes, That's what we Said, No More Adoptions in India! Our Conscience has Spoken! You can cry, and you can Whine, and you can turn yourself inside out with anger, but just as sure as we are obedient Catholics and Mother Teresa's Missionaries we will no longer give 'our' children up to be adopted. You must remember, these are 'Our' children, not 'yours'.  I see that you have a puzzled look on your face so I will explain the puzzle away for you. Now pay attention or I will give you Such a whack with this ruler! It's like This; Many years ago our sweet Mo...ther Teresa, bless her pious soul, saw the need of helping the poor and underprivileged souls, including the pitiful Twenty Million Orphan Urchins of the streets of India. All has been well in our little fantasy land of Nod..until Now. The foolish Government of this Idol worshipping country has now decided that in order to lessen the number of Orphans, and give them a better chance of finding a 'home', they will now allow, or So They Thought, just Anyone, including Homosexuals, and Other sinners who are Divorced, and even Single people, God forbid, to Adopt our poor needy cherubs. Not! Do they not realize just how Homophobic, rigid, and unchanging we Catholics Are? OMG! And I say that Respectfully Lord, but Can you imagine a Divorced person adopting an innocent Child? Oh that will Never Do I tell you! And a Single Person without benefit of The sanctity of blessed Marriage, and we're talking about Male and Female here people, No, No, No Way! Worst of all is the thought of a Homosexual adopting one of 'our' Children! How can this Be dear Lord!? Imagine what Any of these Sinners would be teaching our children! Without our expert guidance, our religious tolerance, our love of our fellow man, how would our beloved orphans even Begin to survive let alone Thrive in this sin filled World!? Well, we will Not let this travesty happen! In our infinite wisdom and upon our Lords instructions, we are simply going to Close Every Orphanage, which will prevent those sinners from giving these needy children an even More needed Home. Sure, I know, 20 Million Children will now have little or No Hope of Ever living in their own Home surrounded by a loving Family, but we Catholic, Mother Teresa's Missionaries must follow our narrow minded, tunnel vision'd conscience and protest, and rebel at the mere thought of a Sinner giving even One of our children a home. Mother Teresa's Missionaries Of Charity Says No More Adoptions In India

The Missionaries of Charity founded by Mother Teresa says it has shut down its adoption services in India over religious objections to the country's new adoption rules. The Catholic sisters known for their blue and white habits and vow of free service to the poor say they have asked the government to de-register 13 orphanages.
The secretary of India's central adoption agency, Veerendra Mishra, told The Indian Express newspaper that there were two points of dispute: "First, [Missionaries of Charity] will not allow adoption by single parents; second, they also have issues with couples, one or both of whom has had a divorce earlier."
A liberalization of adoption guidelines this summer has brought ideological differences between the conservative Catholic order and the Indian government to a head.
India has opened up adoption to prospective parents who are single, divorced or separated.
Under the name Nirmala Shishu Bhawan, the Missionaries' network of homes provides shelter, food, medical care and schooling to abandoned and destitute children, including those with special needs across India. The adoption services were ended Aug. 1, according to Sister Amala, the nun in charge at the Missionaries' home in North Delhi.
Speaking about the decision not to offer adoptions, Sister Amala told local media: "The new guidelines hurt our conscience. They are certainly not for religious people like us. ... What if the single parent who we give our baby [to] turns out to be gay or lesbian? What security or moral upbringing will these children get? Our rules only allow married couples to adopt."
A sister at the same home who asked not to be identified said the Catholic missionary society had been thinking "for some time" about shutting down its adoption services in order to "look after special needs children who had not been adopted." She added, "It was a well-thought out discussion."
The controversy comes as the Catholic Church wrestles with modernity and changing social mores. Pope Francis faced criticism over his recent meeting with Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who has refused on religious grounds to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. While many saw her defiance as anti-gay bigotry, others called it the courage of a religious conservative.
As for adoption, it is rare in India, fraught with taboos and red tape. The Telegraph newspaper cites a 2011 study estimating that there are 20 million orphans, but less than 0.04 percent of abandoned children were adopted through official agencies.
Women and Child Development Minister Maneka Gandhi wants to greatly increase the numbers of children adopted in India. She told a conference on women and children Thursday that the Missionaries of Charity did not want to "come under a uniform secular agenda." However, she added, "We are trying to persuade them, they are good people."
